As you may have noticed, it’s been a while since I last posted (almost 2 months now). Things have been extremely busy for me lately which has definitely hindered my ability to craft and post. Among other things, in the scouting world our pack has been getting ready for summer, day camp, done some service projects, and a couple outings among others. Lastly, I spent all last week (5/28-6/2) at Wood Badge training!! Yes, I am a Wood Badger now! It was an amazing experience and I encourage all leaders to make time to attend. I am currently doing the project planning for my tickets, one of which is a large craft item which I will definitely post here once it is complete. I will make sure to update once I am done with my tickets and have earned my beads as well. For those who are familiar with Wood Badge, or are Wood Badgers themselves, I’m sure this question is burning on your mind: “What patrol am I?” Well………
“I used to be a Bear, a good ‘ol Bear too,
But now I’m finished Bearing, I don’t know what to do.
I’m growing old and feeble, and I can Bear no more,
So I’m going to work my ticket if I can.
Back to Gilwell, happy land,
I’m going to work my ticket if I can!!”
How about you? Are you a Wood Badger? What critter are you? Share your experience (and your patrol) with others in the comments. Also be sure to check back for new crafts coming soon. And as always, if you have a craft you would like to submit, we would love to post it. Please email any/all images plus detailed instructions and a suggested category/categories for your post to cubmaster[at]cubscoutcrafts[dot]com. This post is tagged under: Wood Badge
